Technical Support Engineer - Scheduled session in Mumbai on 22-Dec
Job Description Experience : 2 + years in network management center or service desk.
1 + years of experience dealing directly with customers.
Certified professional are preferred
Job profile: Primary responsibility for troubleshooting detected or reported issues and taking ownership of incidents form beginning to end following incident management procedures.
Roles / Responsibility: Monitor network managers & consoles for alerts.
Answer service desk calls.
Follow incident managent procedures for all alerts and calls.
Follow established standard operating procedures for all alerts.
Monitor NetView / NPDA for down devices.
Troubleshoot basic problems in network & server devices.
Escalate to next level as needed required.
Technical Skills/Competencies: Experience using network monitoring tools, ticketing systems such as Remedy.
Ability to configure & troubleshoot switches, routers.
Working knowledge of Cisco IOS, Cisco CAT OS & Juniper Net Screen OS.
Ability to troubleshoot windows, Linux, Solaris OS.
Working knowledge of routing protocols including BGP4, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP.
Experience with VM ware administration.
Storage area network technologies.
Server & network security awareness.
Behavioral Competencies: Ability & desire to follow processes & procedures.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong communication, good problem solving/decision making skills.
Ability to learn new skills quickly & independently.
Good PC skills.
Ability to manage multiple issues concurrently.
