Designation Financial Analyst (Planning, Forecasting & Analysis) Job Description-Compiles detailed plan data by department and expense category by working with US counterparts
-Prepares all schedules required to support full year plan. Data includes department by department expense plans, capital assumptions, and labor details
-Prepares forecasts and performs quantitative analyses for various types of financial data needed in planning, budgeting and cost control
-Prepares the monthly forecast which includes updating the expense model or internally generated forecasts
-Prepares all schedules supporting monthly P&L. Analyzes actual monthly and year-to-date financial results and advises management of variances, risks and opportunities
-Prepares quarterly capital updates
-Performs monthly review of the general ledger and prepares journal entries as required based on review and knowledge of the forecast
Desired Profile-2-4 years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial planning/forecasting and financial statement analysis
-Should have finance or accounting degree
General Skills:
-Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English
-Should be proficient at excel
-Understanding and managing Client expectations effectively
-Flexibility in adjusting to fluid task assignments and priorities
