Job Description

   The successful candidate will be responsible for providing source code
level sustaining and engineering support for Solaris device drivers
running on different hardware platforms like SPARC, Intel and AMD

level sustaining and engineering support for Solaris device drivers
running on different hardware platforms like SPARC, Intel and AMD

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

* Strong python skills
* Outstanding written and oral communication skills


Required Knowledge and Skills

* Extensive experience using C to write software solutions that
require very strong software coding, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
* Solid understanding of UNIX fundamentals, scripting and shell
programming techniques
* Solid understanding of UNIX internals, especially install, libraries, commands and utilities
* Good understanding of SPARC or Intel/Amd64 Architectures.

Marginal functions

Interact closely with internal teams including new development
engineering,QA, release engineering, Sun Services, and Sun Professional
Services in providing quality software product defect solutions to our
end customers.

Years of relevant experience : -

* 2-6 years with an M.Tech or equivalent degree or 2-8 years B.Tech or
equivalent.

* Field(s)of study could be Computer Science, Electrical Engineering,
Electronics and Communication Engineering or related.

Experience   2 - 7 Years
