Job Description

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Custom Development is a global organization that helps customers seize new market opportunities and

current SAP platform. Whether our customers need to extend and enhance an existing SAP solution or build an entirely new and innovative application, SAP Custom Development is able to deliver high-quality custom

The Solution Execution team within SAP Custom Development is chartered with executing custom development projects and related services, where success is measured by effectively leveraging our ability to deliver those projects on-time, on-budget and with
superior quality. As part of the Solution Execution team, you will be responsible for high level business
process and requirements analysis, architecting solutions utilizing appropriate technologies across various SAP components and application areas, creating solution definitions, functional specifications and design
documents as required, overseeing development, support and training with all documentation, together
with testing, production and go-live aspects according to the SAP Custom Development methodology.\

EDUCATION
B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA with an aggregate score of 65% or above from IIT/NIT/any Premium Institute

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
ô¸ 3+ years of Java development experience
ô¸ Core Java - Classes/Interfaces, Threads&Locks, RMI,
JNDI, JDBC, JVM Execution
ô¸ Advanced Java concepts: JSP/Servlets, Struts, JEE 5,
EJB, Design Patterns
ô¸ Webservices & related concepts - WSDL/WSIL, SOAP,
Service Registry
ô¸ Exposure to JMS (Java Messaging Server), Java Mail
APIs or JCA (Java Connectivity architecture) would be
an added advantage
ô¸ Strong knowledge in any of
the following areas:
ô¸ XI
ô¸ MDM
ô¸ BI
ô¸ EP
ô¸ Composition Environment & related toolset
ô¸ GP, Visual Composer, Java Webdynpro, CAF
Should be willing to work on ABAP & other SAP
Technologies
ô¸ Experience in executing projects in a
distributed development model
ô¸ Excellent communication skills:
presentation/facilitation, verbal communication,
writing & listening
ô¸ Strong analytical and problem solving skills

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Define the design for medium to high complexity custom solutions Complete development activities such as
coding, testing, documentation and maintenance support for SAP Custom
Development solutions Participate in project quality management
tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents and code
reviews Provide high quality of message resolution adhering to the Service Level Agreements.Have a high customer focus and manage customer expectations in a responsive manner.Communicate project status according to project communication plan.Escalate issues well in advance and suggest
alternative approaches. Adhere to project timelines and budget specified. Escalate issues well in advance and suggest alternative approaches Mentor developers in the team.Be flexible in taking up different tasks in the project. Enhance skills and competencies by adhering to the development plan. Work closely with other custom development team members, external partners and customer teams to ensure successful project completion
