Job DescriptionBI / Data warehouse developer will play a key role in technical development, UML modeling, use case design, object design and analysis. They will work closely with development, testing and business teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure consistent treatment of requirements.
They should be comfortable working with teams in multiple locations. They should work closely with the technical lead. They should analyze requirements of Business Intelligence reporting and profiles source systems data to identify data structures anomalies and data definitions inconsistencies.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Strong application design and development using Business Objects
Translate requirements into technical design.
Database developer skills with PL/SQL, procedures, views, functions
Strong in Tuning Procedures and SQLs
Well versed in Oracle 10g database features
Good Data Modeling skills with ERDs
3-4+ years of technical /systems analysis in a distributed systems development projects
Strong use case development experience, UML skills
Knowledge of Rational Unified Process and agile development processes
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Requirements management experience.
Should have experience in gathering business requirements to support business solutions for data warehousing.
Proficient in developing use cases, wire frames, functional and non-functional requirements.

Unix, Shell Scripting
Version Control Tools such as CVS, SubVersion
Should have worked on Change Control Management
Desired Candidate ProfileREQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, AND Experience :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
3-4 years of work experience in Software Development and SDLC
Previous programming or scripting experience
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Business Object XI certified
Informatica 7.0 certified
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Good Unix shell scripting knowledge
