Senior Software Engineer - C++ Job Description Altair is looking for highly motivated and capable developers to help with the design and development of the Graphical User Interface for Altair MotionView � a graphical modeling, simulation, and results evaluation environment for Multibody Simulation. The ideal candidates will be experienced software developers who are quick learners, capable of operating independently, and require little supervision. They will be expected to collaborate successfully with the US based development team and be productive in a fast paced development environment.
Desired Profile� Ability to operate independently and work in a fast paced development environment
� Commercial success in designing/implementing large scale and robust GUIs
� Expert level programming skills in C++; Tcl/Tk knowledge a plus
� Strong understanding of object oriented methods and technology
� Good understanding and familiarity with XML technology
� Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
� Prior work experience in CAD/MCAE industry is a definite advantage
� Detail Oriented
� Good English grammar skills
� Linux experience
� Experience with commercial software configuration management tools like Perforce a plus
