Job Description:
This position involves securely managing a user's access to applications, DBMS and network resources. This role ensures that corporate, compliance and legal requirements for user access is enforced, while making the mechanism for enforcement as convenient as possible for the end user.
This is an Information Security role that will establish and remove IDs based on business practices, needs and policies using established custom software solutions and detailed procedures. Role Based Access Controls skills are required for this role to accurately and reliably establish the management and validation of access to our critical systems.
A background with strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to create, evaluate and educate team members. Possess highly process driven experience such as creating security incident reports and a certification and integration background.
Desired Candidate Profile:
â Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in Identity Management, Role Based Access Controls, Provisioning, and De-Provisioning role
â A Computer Science or equivalent degree is preferred but not required, with a preference to those with the following relevant courses or Experience : system administration (UNIX and/or Windows) and/or any Anti-Virus, Security Agent or Firewall software exposure is an added plus.
â LDAP directory knowledge or experience
â Knowledge of File Systems and a familiarity with share and NTFS permission structures
â Development of system to system integrations or interfaces
â User Authentication
â Working knowledge of Excel and MS/WORD
â Ability to follow documentation and procedures.
â A self-starter with the ability to work both in a team environment and independently
â Strong communication and interpersonal skills
â Background in Identity management and User access mgmt is an added plus
