Senior Software Engineer - Cobol/400


Job Description   

• Understand production issues and fixing job failures.
• Analysis of defects and defect prevention measures.
• Fixing Program/Functional Defects.
• Understanding the requirements from the business users.
• Preparation of Analysis, design and test plan documents.
• Coordinate with business users/OSCO for issue resolution.
• Good Coding and testing skills.
• Good written and oral communication.
• Maintain knowledge repository of all reported issues and their resolution.
• Technical documentation of the maintenance and enhancements work.

Desired Profile    

• Experience in PDLC phases of the maintenance project.
• Experience in supporting AS/400 project.
• Good understanding of As/400 technology.
• Good command over the quality processes & Estimation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in working in an onsite-offshore model and onsite experience would be an added advantage.
