Job description:

Join HP's dynamic ProCurve Networking Business chartered with developing HP's ProCurve Switches, Routers, Wireless Access, and Network Management products. As a member of the Solution Test Center (STC), you will contribute to the development and verification of ProCurve Networking Products. Responsibilities during the design life cycle include HW and SW WAN product performance and stress, security protocol automation and verification, total solutions level automation and verification, networking features and protocol automation and verification (layers 2-7). Candidate must be able to identify the all automation possibilities and automate using right tools to achieve good productivity and improve the robustness of the product.

Must
1. BE/B.tech/M.tech in Computer Science (or comparable)
2. 3-6 years experience in testing of which at least 2 years should be Network Management System and Test automation.
3. Strong in QTP development skills. Practical experience required. (designing, coding and validation of test cases) Silktest experience optional.
4. Strong in programming fundamentals in any OOL and scripting required. (VB, Shell, Perl)
5. Should be able independently design, code and validate the test case automation without compromise on quality and schedule.
6. Should be able to understand existing automation code and maintain them.
7. Should be able to collaborate with local/cross-site development and test teams.
8. Familiarity with SDLC, processes and best practices in test automation. (design review, code review, version control, change control, code review and validation etc.)
9. Experience in Quality Center preferred.

Desired Profile    

Experience level: 3+ yrs.

Essential Skills
- 2+ years in the Automation using QTP in Network Management domain.
- Must have experience in end-to-end automation of Testcases using QTP.
- Must have experience in Integration of QTP with QC.
- Must have hands on experience in testing Network Management features on Switches and Routers.
- Basic Networking & switches fundamentals is essential.
• Optional skills preferred
- Experience in test automation using Silk test or TCL
- SNMP automation
