Process Associate - Accounts Payables Job DescriptionUnderstand and operate to SLA's focusing activity in order to ensure compliance and identify ways of exceeding customer expectations.
Identify problem areas in the process and take charge for process improvements. Work with teams to generate solutions, facilitate team work and open communications
Build relationships with key contacts across the processes and functions within the BSC and other countries to help in cross process improvements.
Work as a member of a team of process specialists to improve processes within relevant BSC work stream.- Contact customers where applicable to resolve queries.
Achieve high quality standard in all the work & transactions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensuring accounts are all reconciled in a timely manner and also that all are under control and confirm to Reuters group accounting policies & IFRS.
Use Oracle AR and SAP AP system to resolve all issues.
Responsible for journal processing, account reconciliation, month & year end accounting cycles.
To identify problems and resolve customer queries & complaints.
Take care of all vendor / supplier queries and ensure their satisfaction.
Provide information & support to Team Leader. Assist the TL in setting performance measurement procedure in the team.
Desired Profile REQUIREMENTS: Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. * JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Contact with others is primarily internal. * SUPERVISION: Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. * Experience : Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years experience.

Qualifications:
Bcom/Mcom/MBA.
Computer Skills:
Good usage knowledge of MS Office
SAP/Oracle Applications (as as end-user) - would be added advantage
Required Skills:
Flexibility to work in Shifts
Excellent customer service skills and experience of telephone based support is desirable
Good communication skills - Written & Verbal
Strong analytical & problem solving skills
Aptitude for process improvement, attention to detail, going into the root cause of the problem
Good Working knowledge of Excel
Foreign Language skills would be an added advantage.
