Technical Writer


Job Description    

- Coordinate with software programmers and QA team to get technical information on products.
- Analyze and gather user requirements in terms of product documentation to translate them into concise and clear product documentation (user manuals, online help, release notes etc.)
- Enjoy gathering and synthesizing information, taking a methodical approach to explaining procedures, and finding out how things are built and operate.
- Work effectively, independently and as a team member and successfully manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Desired Profile    

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A good grasp of grammar and the ability to express ideas clearly in writing editing and proofreading skills.
-Proven ability to analyze large amounts of technical product information and present relevant information to users clearly and concisely, using consistent terminology and style. Writing samples are required.
-Thorough knowledge of technical publication standards and practices. Familiarity with some well-known style guides (e.g. MSTP).
-Accepts accountability for deliverables.
-Committed to teamwork and willing to accept responsibility.
-Ability to function efficiently and calmly under time pressure, and to manage time to deliver documentation according to an established schedule.
-Flexibility in working hours.
