Channel Development Manager - Online Job Description Responsible for executing development and growth strategies for the channel
Responsible for maximizing revenue from the online channel
Work closely with internal customer-facing business units (CRM, Sales, Branches, Alt Channels) to enhance the proposition and ensure proposition delivery for the channel
Ensure proposals are commercially viable with justified business case and are aligned with strategic direction of business
Actively participate in development of customer life cycle management plan and implement solutions for customer engagement and activation
oImplement the integrated customer experience that takes customer from introduction into all offerings.
oImplement activities to identify various touch points for customer engagement
oAnalyze gaps, area of improvements and implement solutions at all levels of customer engagement
Broadening the product suite for the online channel to enhance revenue opportunities
Provide sales support to acquisition and sales channels through development of appropriate sales tools, communication and processes
Implement promotional schemes / contests to drive growth
Working with internal teams across the Organization for successful implementation of strategic tie-ups done across segments with Cellular service operators, Publishing houses, websites, ISP’s, Fulfillment agencies etc
Tie-up and gear internal touch points for implementation of the alliances done for offering Value added products & services to customers in the specific segment
Manage interactions with other business units regarding online offers and online special prices, ensuring consistency of offers
Desired Profile Demonstrated experience managing web-based products and the customer experiences they represent
Capability to understand and balance needs of multiple client segments, and effective team influencing skills critical for success in this role
Expert understanding of the Online marketplace: trend awareness; industry best practices, available technologies, etc
Excellent problem solving ability
Great attitude, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills
Combination of analytic and strategic thinking and customer empathy are essential for this position
Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects and timelines
