BPM Consultant ( Business Process Management )


Job Description   

Process mapping:
 Extensive amount of process mapping which requires interactions with program stakeholders, domain experts, systems experts, analytics team, etc.
 Process mapping through face-to-face workshops and/or virtual meetings with stakeholders
 Documenting the processes at various levels (starting at the highest level and then drilling down to desk level procedures)

Process modeling:
 Modeling the mapped process in process mapping tool
 Integrating the process models with workflow models and with other related models (such as goal model, capability model)
 Modeling should depict the various interacting elements

Process walkthrough:
 Conducting process walkthrough of the process models to respective teams
 Publishing the process models on web/.doc
 Updating the process models based on the feedback of the ‘walk through’ sessions.
 Training end users on the new processes

Client interaction
 Interacting closely with client & program stakeholders.
 Scheduling and conducting meetings and conference calls to meet the program (short term/long term) requirements
 Arranging/ attending the client calls for requirement gathering, process mapping and process walkthrough.

BPM Meetings:
 As a core-team member, for the global reengineering program the BPM consultant will show active participation in BPM meetings to make sure the efforts put in the program by various streams are inline with the program goal
 Active participation in the BPM meetings for setting the quality standards for BPM deliverables, Modeling templates and publishing templates

Desired Profile    

Skills Required
IT Skills
• Sound knowledge of process modeling tools and languages, like Pro-vision, ARIES, UML
• Familiarity with CRM or Supply Chain domain
• MS Visio, Excel, Word, MS Project
• Hands on experience with process mapping, process modeling, and conducting process walkthrough

Soft Skills
• Should be able to work independently
• Good presentation skills
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Detail oriented and thorough
• Ability to adapt to changing environments very quickly
• Ability to interact with individuals from various cultures/geographies across the globe
• Willingness to take short term travels at short notice

Educational Qualification
B.E (any)/ B. Tech/ M. tech/ MBA/ with 4 to 12 yrs of proven experience in process modeling/ designing/ re-engineering/ business process development.
