Job Description

Hi!

We have got urgent HP Service Center openings with Birlasoft.

Skill:

Detailed Requirement:
The candidate should possess:
1. Strong administrative knowledge of service center/ HP service manager 7.x with good knowledge in all the Modules of Service Center/Service Manager 7.x.
2. Very good understanding of ITIL processes.
3. Should have good knowledge in FC, FD, Macros, Triggers, Display Options, Document Engine, Scripts, JavaScript, Virtual Joins, DVD's, Notification Engine, Links and Menus.
4. Should be able to solve complex problems related to the workflow of the Service manager and Customer based Workflow.
5. Need to monitor size of system queues, event queues and scheduler queue.
6. Good Knowledge of Connect-It Integrations
7. Publishing and Consuming of Web Services with Service Manager
8. Asset Manager expertise will be an added advantage
9. Some Java scripting expertise
10. In addition, the candidate should have very good communication skill and must be a team player.
Skills on Priority (Rating):
1. 1.5-3 years of working experience in Service Center/Service Manager 7.x
2. Knowledge of ITSM Implementation Accelerator (IIA)
3. Good understanding of integrating HP Service Manager with other HP applications using Connect-It.
4. Ability to customize Service Manager based on customer requirements
5. Make recommendations to customers based on their environment and how the tool is being implemented.
Relevant Exp. Required (Skill):
1. 2-6 years of IT experience
2. 1+ years of experience in Service Center/ Service Manager 7.x
3. ITIL Foundation v2/v3 certified preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering for all modules of HP Service Manager 7.x
2. Prepare estimation for the project in terms of Cost and Effort
3. Analyze all possible Interface Solution between various modules and propose best cost effective Interface Solution for the client.
4. Understand client Network Requirement and feasibility for Interfacing
5. Interface Solution Design – both High Level and Low Level
6. Build necessary Service Manager environment for Development, Testing and Implementation
7. Prepare test specification and Test cases (covering scenarios of positive and negative testing)
8. Prepare Implementation plan, Design Document, Implementation guide and Release plan.
9. Prepare necessary Technical and functional document.
10. Assist in presales activities for HP Service Manager.
11. Provide configuration and user training on HP Service Manager as and when required.
