Solution Consultant Job Description Should have been part of a Solutioning/consulting team for ITO
· Must have a good understanding of the inter linkages, process efficiency opportunities, challenges and growth opportunities
· Must have the ability to objectively evaluate the current offerings that we have within the organization, assess growth opportunities that exist in the external environment and identify investments( tools, technology, domain content) needed to build capability for the future
· Must be able to develop process maps that mirror as-is as well as to-be processes.
· A sound understanding of commercial models( pricing and contracts) is a must
· Should have had experience in owning (and responding) to RFIs and RFPs in the with a strong solution oriented approach
· Must be able to distil client requirements and deliver solutions that differentiate us from the others.
· The candidate should be able to work with other functions in a matrix format to drive best in class results, leveraging skills, building/buying content where not available and developing contextual solutions
Desired Profile · Plan, Design, install and commission Data Center. Repatriation of servers , Transition for Network support
· Design and implement Storage and Backup environment for various projects.
· Consulting and providing necessary solution definition, Implementation strategy and Test plans for core applications running across the network.
· Assess disaster recovery and Business Continuity and arrive at a solution.
· End to end architecture and necessary recommendations
· To provide consulting output to the customer in terms of IT infrastructure for their organization accounting for the growth in the size of the organization as well as the development in the technical front.
· To design and bring up the physical infrastructure needed to host a data center for mission critical applications.
· Design and Implementation of WAN network for clients as & when required.
· Utilization of Avaya and Cisco components in Solutioning.
