Associate Analyst SiebelExperience : 1-2
Description: The primary function of this position includes Design, development and implementation of Siebel eBusiness / information technology solutions for small to medium-sized, moderately complex business problems in order to improve speed, quality and/or cost of business operations.
This position participates in gathering and translating business requirements and specifications into Siebel technical programming specifications. Creates well-written and reliable Siebel application programs and business objects. Performs unit testing and documentation activities on Siebel application. Communicates and collaborates with team members and internal customers.
Skillsets:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Business Development:
Possesses 1-2 years experience in programming of electronic commerce or manufacturing applications. Demonstrates close familiarity with at least one business process. Reviews and addresses requests received from internal customers.
B. Requirements Definition:
Gathers business requirements. Reviews and refines business requirements provided by others in order to ensure that customer needs are clearly understood and documented.
C. Analysis:
Demonstrates working knowledge of object-oriented and structured analysis techniques. Appraises multiple alternatives and presents pros and cons of each for team decision-making.
D. Design:
Translates business requirements into both physical and logical representations, allowing customers to understand how the proposed design will function to meet their needs in Siebel CRM.
E. Construction:
Demonstrates proficiency in Siebel language/platform. Produces programming deliverables (code, documentation, services, components, processes) that are of consistently good quality and operate as expected.
F. Testing & Implementation:
Creates and executes test plans for task and unit level programming deliverables. Creates test data to prove all test cases. Executes and documents results of test plans to ensure modules will operation properly in the production environment. Implements changes in compliance with Eaton practices for change management.
G. Production Support & Customer Service:
Monitors and responds to development, Test, and production, environment problems in assigned areas, in some cases including evening, weekend and holiday periods. Recognizes recurring production problems and suggests containment and permanent corrective actions. Provides timely, responsive support and service to internal and external customers so that the IT / business relationship is viewed positively.
H. Other:
Demonstrates accountability for his/her own work products. Achieves proficiency at Siebel development skills through completion of training and development plan objectives. Travels as needed to fulfill project tasks.
