SR&I-DI-Information Center-Analyst-Hyderabad Job Description About SR&I:
Deloitte's Strategy, Research and Innovation (SR&I) Team: The SR&I team consists of professionals focussed on market & competitive intelligence, thought leadership, solution development, knowledge management, strategic planning, and commercialization to produce high value offerings that generate bottom line benefits for clients and the firm. SR&I professionals work closely with their US counterparts to identify business development priorities and influence overall firm strategy besides supporting client relationship building activities. The group plays a key role in communicating and commercializing the firm's perspective to a broad audience around the world.
About IC:
Information Center (IC) contributes to business development by providing Researchers, account teams and top Management information and data support. The ICs use a wide variety of publicly available resources to support client engagements, practice and new business development as well as market place planning initiatives. Information Center team also provides publicly available information to support strategy, service and new business development projects with a competitive perspective.
Desired Profile Qualification: MBA/ CA/ CFA/ MBE/MFC/ MIB/ MA Economics or equivalent masters degree from international institutions (US/ UK/ Australia).
Specific Skill Sets:
- Must have strong verbal and written English skills
Exposure to working in teams
Knowledge of online databases like Bloomberg, Hoovers, Factiva, One Source, Thomson, Compustat, etc.
Job Purpose:
- * Liaison with the U.S. colleagues to understand requirements and prioritize work
- Perform extensive literature and financial data searches using online databases, the Internet, print materials, technical reports, scholarly journal articles, and original source material.
- Provide information and data to top management, practioners and researchers on industry, company and competitors.
Analyze and respond to research requests, in a rapid and accurate manner.
* Mentor junior colleagues on industry and research skills
