Staff Sales Consultant - PreSales Job Description Position Description:
• Provide Oracle Technology presales support in the sales cycle by analysing Partner requirements, and proposing the appropriate Oracle Technology solutions.
• Support sales opportunities for Oracle 10g Technology solutions by creating and delivering demonstrations, scripts and presentations for use by OD territroy SCs, Sales Reps.
• Support sales opportunities for Oracle 10g Technology solutions by project managing, designing, and in conjunction with the iTech team, develop and deliver prototype and proof of concept demonstrations of Oracle technology solutions.
• Learn and maintain in depth knowledge of Oracle 10g Technology solutions, and transfer such knowledge to OD Partner SC community and Oracle Direct Sales Reps.
• Design, build and deliver Sales Program materials such as training, eNewsletters, and iSeminar presentations and demonstrations.
• Deliver workshops partners on Oracle 10/11g Technology and the benefits of partnering with Oracle.

• Learns and maintains in-depth knowledge of industry trends
• Educates Oracle Direct Sales Reps, iC Reps and Oracle Direct SC community through Oracle Technology product and competitive training sessions
• Support sales opportunities for Oracle Technology solutions by creating and delivering Oracle demonstrations, scripts and presentations in events , roadshows .
• Support sales opportunities for Oracle 10g Technology solutions by project managing, designing, and in conjunction with the iTech team, develop and deliver prototype and proof of concept demonstrations of Oracle technology solutions.
• Assists the Oracle Direct Partner community in the completion of RFP and RFI requests for opportunities
• Provides on-line technical information for easy access by Oracle Direct SCs and Oracle Oracle Direct sales reps.
• Design, build and deliver Oracle technology Sales Program materials such as training, eNewsletters, and iSeminar presentation and demonstrations to the Mid Market SC community.
• Assist in the implementation of Core Technology initiatives and projects to achieve “best practice” procedures, processes and systems with Oracle Direct AsiaPac
Desired Profile • EXPERIENCE
• 3 or more years IT industry experience – preference in presales background in solution selling
• Oracle Technology software with focus on Oracle 9i/10/11g Databases are strongly needed. Experience on J2EE, Application server stack is desired.
• Compatible interpersonal skills and multi cultural sensitivity essential
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing, progressive organisation essential
• Solid knowledge of china business and industries highly regarded
• Ability to work independently and with a team required
• Ability to analyse, and document potential partners/customers’ requirements and position Oracle Technology solutions to address such needs is required
• Ability to work to a deadline required
• Self motivated, desire to learn independently required
• Strong communication and training skills required
• Competitive software product background and knowledge is highly regarded
