CPU Pre-Si Validation Engineer - 567383 Description In this position, you will be working on Intel� IA-32 Xeon�class server CPU design. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Working on pre-Silicon logic and micro-architecture validation and debug
- Exposure to system and/or platform-level validation issues/activities in some cases
- Participating in defining/owning test plan development and execution
- Working closely with the micro-architects and the design team to define tests, execute, debug and fix micro-architecture bugs
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with seven to eight years of experience in design. Alternatively, you should possess a Master of Science in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering with six to seven years of experience, or an equivalent. You should also have RTL and/or logic design skills. Familiarity with Specman*, C++, and Perl would be an added advantage.
