Finance Project Manager- SAP FICO Job Description Description Business Environment Global Business Services (GBS) organization, which is part of the Corporate Administration & Shared Services (CA&SS) global function, provides business process outsourcing services to HP internal clients. This dynamic business is looking for finance project manager to drive and implement projects related to the General Ledger. Job Description Plan all aspects of project development. Manage and monitor resources and schedules. Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the project Ensure the effective timely delivery of the project and highlight any concerns. Maintain regular contact with clients. Ensure quality and high standards are maintained at all times. Organize, brief and supervise the testing process. Ensure clear communications throughout the project. Understands customers needs, applications, trends. Works with and influences other groups and functional areas in defining policy, procedures, or systems. Exercises creativity in the design, development, or improvement of major functional processes. The responsibilities also extend to providing deep level support to the operations team.
Desired Profile Qualifications Bachelors or Masters in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or MBA with emphasis in Finance, CA, ICWA Min. 3 years experience in finance or accounting roles in SAP FICO Experience in working on global and international level Proven presentation and communication skills at all levels Fluent English language skills Project Management: Plan all aspects of project development, Manage and monitor resources and schedules, Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the project, Management of multiple medium to large scale development or finance projects, Previous teamleading and/or project management roles Stakeholder/Customer Management: Ensure the effective timely delivery of the project and highlight any concerns, Maintain regular contact with clients, Ensure quality and high standards are maintained at all times, Understands customers needs, applications, trends, Experience in working with internal and external partners, Interface with all levels in customer organization Project Testing Management: Organize, brief and supervise the testing process Project Communication Management: Ensure clear communications throughout the project Business Process Management: Works with and influences other groups and functional areas in defining policy, procedures, or systems, Exercises creativity in the design, development, or improvement of major functional processes Financial System Analysis and Support on SAP: The responsibilities also extend to providing deep level support to the operations team, In Depth Knowledge of Financial Systems, SAP implementation & architecture understanding
