Opening for WebFOCUS in CSC( Computer sciences corporation), Chennai Job Description -Front-end reporting tools (IBI WebFOCUS and Business Objects)
-Programming experience ( SQL –Ability to write procedures and analyze the PL/SQL scripts).
-Database skills (Teradata/DB2/Oracle and data modeling/Design)
-Must possess ability to install and configure principal Web Focus components, including Report Caster Reporting Server, synonyms, master files, and other similar reporting objects.
-Build an initial WebFOCUS implementation framework with prototype reports.
-Familiar with WebFOCUS client/server components.
-Provide analysis, design and leadership consulting services using the Information Builders core product line (FOCUS/WebFOCUS) which include the core features and capabilities of reporting, Dialogue Manager and Developer Studio.
-Working knowledge of TCP/IP.
-Working knowledge of TAM/LDAP
-Demonstrated Knowledge in Dataware housing concepts, Data Models, Data Marts
-Define Prototypes or mockups
Desired Profile -6+ years overall IT experience
-2+ years in IBI's WebFOCUS Reporting Tool
-Experience in ETL(datastage) and Unix Exposure,JCL, Java.
-Strong communication (oral and written)
-Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
-Strong drive for results and ability to work independently as well as a team member.
-Demonstrated commitment to quality and project timing
-Experience in obtaining and understanding business requirements
-Able to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
