www.ThomsonReuters.com The training program manager will focus on leading the development and implementation of training programs for TRTA business with key responsibility of developing a certification program where every required
The incumbent will design the course curriculum and syllabus, and gather & assemble content into logical and progressive course units (from entry level to senior level)
Co-ordinate in managing orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires
Formulates training policies and schedules, utilizing knowledge of identified training needs, company production processes, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services
Organizes the development of training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials
Evaluates instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
Manages the development of testing and evaluation procedures.
Facilitate cross training program across all the verticals
Design and implement process proficiency index for all the processes with periodical report out on the status and Confers with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors.
Analyzes training needs to develop, modify / improve existing training programs.
Trains instructors, supervisors, and subject matter experts in techniques and skills for training and dealing with employees.
Plans, develops, and provides training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training.
Demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, workshops, etc.
Come up with pre-transition training plan and providing guidance for the on-site training progress.
Provide monthly feedback to your team members in a timely and efficient manner
Help manage attrition by bringing people issues to your Supervisors in a timely manner
Identify any people conflicts and bring up to your supervisors
Take responsibility for Committees assigned to you and run regular meetings
Conduct weekly meetings with designated US contacts and provide updates on work status
Facilitate daily de-brief meeting with team members
Complete tasks assigned by Management with a sense of urgency and confidentiality where needed
Support your Manager/Supervisor in any assigned administrative tasks

Good communication skills - Written and spoken fluency in English
Graduate/ Post graduate Commerce/MBA/MA English/Accountancy
Should be a Certified trainer
4-6+ years of professional experience with 3-4 years in training roles.
Should have experience interacting with US personnel over the phone and e-mail
Should have experience handling a minimum team size of 10 to 15 individuals
Identifying Training needs. Monitoring and evaluating the quality of the session conducted by Process Trainers
Should have capabilities in resource planning allocation, production, and coordination of people and resources.
Ability to analyze data and organize as per requirement
Must have experience providing feedback to individuals
Experience handling administrative tasks like data gathering, technology setup, liaison with support staff etc.
Skilled and experienced in designing training programs.
Delivery of training to managerial staff.
Reporting status of department.
The candidate should have handled reporting and assisting in factors impacting financials of a process
The candidate should have a good understanding of BPO Operations
Should have strong analytical skills, business acumen & quality rigour
The candidate should have strong exposure to training & transition methodologies
Attention to detail
Expertise in MS Excel,MS Word and intermediate knowledge of MS Access and Powerpoint
Current work hours are 2.00 PM to 11.00 PM, IST. Shift change is anticipated depending on US work hours/time zone and business need. Should be willing to work in any shift
