Sr. Manager / Manager / Executive -Civil JobsCafe.com Job Description - Experience in handling the complete charge of Civil construction activities of a green-field thermal power project of 120 MW or above.
- Exposure and knowledge of international standards and best practices for construction technology and latest trends in project management is desirable.
-Responsible for all civil construction activities of main plant starting from boundary wall construction, site leveling/piling to Boiler foundation, TG hall foundation work.
-Responsible for railway infrastructure work, civil aspects of plant water system, ash and coal handling systems and foundation work of switchyard.
-Responsible for construction of employee township and site facilities.
-Responsible for coordinating with supervisory personnel, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
-Mobilizing Resources/ Equipments/ Materials at local level to facilitate scheduled construction work.
-To ensure adherence to time schedules for the civil construction activities at the site.
-Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to construction engineers and supervisors of the contractor.
-To keep the Construction In-charge updated about the progress of the civil construction activities.
-Ensure strict compliance to all safety norms & implement project safety plan.
