Job Description

Principal Accountabilities

In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Relationships

Cultivates and promotes working relationships with the Real Estate Team, other McDonald’s departments, alliance partners (e.g. gas stations/oil companies, and other outside organizations (e.g. local government agencies, large Real Estate developers and mall operators).

Maintains working relationship with the rest of the Business Development Team and other McOpCo support groups.

Adheres to company code of ethics in dealing with outside organizations or parties.

- Renewal of agreements

People and Development

Demonstrates and reinforces the leadership behaviors and basic people minimums necessary to gain commitment from the subordinates.

With the Business Development Team, fosters the Development Team approach within the region.

Development Plan Execution

Creates, manages, executes and contributes to the development plan to meet portfolio returns with the development team in accordance with the 3-1Q Plans.

Ensures quality control standards for real estate transactions (cost, time, location, economics, market needs, and deal quality, etc.)

Communicates and implements Corporate policies and procedures.

Manages and makes adjustments to maintain an even workload among staff members while still meeting Department goals.

Real Estate Assets

Manages real estate assets to maximize returns (re-acquisition, value of leases, development projects, condemnations, and excess property, etc.)
 
Desired Candidate Profile

Accountable within the geographical area of assignment to manage the Real Estate portfolio for existing real estate assets. Key customers include Real Estate Officers, Project Development Team, Facility Management Team,Owner /Operators, Operations Group, Licensee Accounting Manager, and other McOpCo support groups.
