Sify Movies has been one of the pioneers in the online entertainment industry. The website is a must read for movie fans across India & Indians Living abroad. As part of this growth, we are creating the position of Business Manager. This role will be responsible for contributing to our aggressive growth plans for subscriber base & revenue.
The selected candidate will provide strategic direction and thought leadership in identifying partnership opportunities with appropriate entities including web-based companies, publishers, TV Channels or any other company in which mutual synergies and relationships can be identified and fostered. These will include content syndication deals, sales links, co-branding opportunities, and other partnerships that are in the company's best interest, with the ultimate goal of add new subscribers to the website, increase usage & revenue. The Candidate with work closely with a cross functional team including Advertising Sales, Technology, Editorial & Marketing Teams to achieve the defined objectives
The Business Manager will be a highly strategic marketer who is able to identify, develop and execute 3rd party deals that are aligned to the company's core strategy and vision. He/she must have excellent relationship management skills with the ability to build professional, credible and profitable relationships.
- BA/BSc/BE required/ MBA preferred
- 3+years of business development & management in a relevant industry
- Experience of managing sales relationships is a plus
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Must be goal oriented, daily target driven,self starter & a Team Player
Desired Candidate ProfileCandidates with experience in handling business management role in online domain. Preferably expsoure in large B2C Portals
