Job Description

The Recruiting Team's mission is to build and maintain a world class quality candidate experience that will result in hiring the best. Sr. Recruiter will work with business leaders to identify and strategize short and long term hiring needs of the company. They will build effective candidate generation and sourcing strategies for key positions for Technology and Business Services groups. All aspects of candidate administration such as maintaining and updating applicant and offer activity, job description creation, postings. - Manage entire process or area of recruiting. - Specs job, sources candidates, assess candidate (recommends offer package including compensation), close candidate, processing offer/hire, partners with hiring managers on strategy and SLA. - Establish, Maintain & Reports metrics on all steps in recruiting process (i.e. source mix, cost per hire, TAT, offers, hires, declines, ratios, etc.) - Responsible for completing and/or delegating multiple projects to team or cross-functional participants. - Manages and initiates very complex projects autonomously, they may have significant bottom-line impact. - Establish and drive relationships with vendors or partners and proactively address issues/concerns. - Participates in recruiting efforts. Continually raises the hiring bar. - May be active in the training and/ or development of others in the team. - Executes vision and goals for the team or department. - Plans, executes and measures multi channel complex sourcing efforts - Turns leads into candidates - Leads complex hiring meeting - Assemble effective hiring team/ meeting and assigns competencies - Influences hiring decisions - Offers a consultative approach to hiring managers and what their needs are. Has an in-depth understanding of the context of the positions recruiting for. Is able to determine recruiting needs for an org that have not yet been identified. - Can spec positions that are new, undefined or niche positions. - Responsible for effectively networking by referral / reference contacts, internal employees, conducting industry research, cold calling & attending events. - Works with hiring managers on complex, strategic offers. - Will make significant independent decisions without prior approval or assistance from a manager. - Establishes policies/practices for new situations. Knowledge & Skills/ Business Acumen/ Education & Experience - Generally requires a Graduate degree or higher with a MBA and 4-8 years of relevant experience. - Some industry certification or affiliation with accredited professional associations preferred. - Understands the environments of the various databases and systems that are used internally. - Expected to be proficient with internal and external postings tools and have exceptional web researching skills. - Expected to have great judgment within facilitation of hiring meetings, conducting reference checks. - Operates with some level of autonomy and discretion. - Requires good creativity and judgment. - Ability to Influence complex decisions, ability to influence team, department and cross company. - Ability to effectively set expectations. - Significant thought and creativity required to source and interview positions which are difficult to fill. - Deep and broad understanding of the business and specific area supporting or managing. - Ability to focus discussions on issues impacting candidate. - Ability to push back, Consultative skills. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Strong project management skills. - Strong judgment and instincts. - Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment. - Insists on the highest standards from self and others.
