Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities: Networking - Cisco - Data L1, Networking - Cisco - Data L1
Skill & Job Requirements: 1) Strong Networking Skills - Cisco - Data L1 /L2, with minimum 2 years of Work Experience.
2) Should have CCNA or Nortel certification.
3) Good understanding of switching, TCP/IP, IP Addressing, routing, IP inter-networking technologies: Familiarity about Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP), Multicast, VPN, ACLs, NAT, VRRP, NSRP.
4) Solid understanding of Switching. Knowledge of VLANs, trunking, and spanning tree protocol would be preffered.
5) Experience in resolving multiple complex technical problems for critical IT infrastructure ( L1/L2 Networking Devices ? Switches, Routers remotely )
6) Familairty with Configuration Backup of IOS & Restoration. Familarity with Load Balancers ( Alteon, Nortel ) / LinkProof ( Radware ) will have added advantage.
7) Handle & support New Project / Technology or Architecture Implementation / De livery & Sustenance activities Onsite / Offsite
8)Familiarity with ITIL Concepts ( Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management etc ) is Must.
9) Diagnosing LAN/WAN issues across PAN India
10) Planning for any new project with respect to Network Architectural change including Designing & Implementation.
11) Preparing Technical SOP?s & Documentation as per ITIL/ISO standards with version control
12) Should be able to mentor the team members on technological changes in the environment, good team player with effective presentation skills.
13 ) Should be able to work 24*7 environment and willingness to work for extra hours as per business requirements.
Desired Candidate ProfileQualification: B.Tech
