Manager Dispatch PlanningJobsCafe.com Job Description •Forecast arrival of material from different sources
•Once arrived, plan the dispatch of material
- at minimum cost,
- with delivery and dispatch compliance,
- maintaining inventory level,
- at sub optimal cost and
- minimum/no idle freight
Key Activities :
Delivery related communication with M&S and customers
Common bridge between Marketing and Sales and FP & LP for centralized planning
Interaction with customer and M&S to capture the service level requirements
Prepare monthly, weekly and daily dispatch plan from the sales plan and production plan
Keeping inventory strictly within control limit
Keeping cost under control by controlling idle freight, sub- optimal cost, demurrage and inventory carrying cost al all loading and unloading points
Compliance monitoring for HR/IR/Sheets/ Semis
Lifting and transit compliance
Maintaining inventory levels
Daily Despatch – Rail, road, Gandola
Diversion form Road to rail and Risk Purchase
GC, TOC and skin panel depatch
Local Road despatch
Desired Profile Engineering + MBA
