Job DescriptionImplement changes on the network according to the change management process.
Apply Configuration on Routers, Switches.
Min 3+ yrs of relevant experience
· Hands on’ Cisco IOS configuration skills (specifically BGP, OSPF & QoS/ CoS), preferably with minimum CCNA accreditation.
· Hands on experience for Juniper , Avaya , Nortel is an added advantage
· Experience with designing and deploying different WAN technologies including MPLS, xDSL, Frame Relay & ATM.
Knowledge of and familiarity with basic LAN design principles, including VLAN
configuration, 802.1q trunking, Spanning Tree etc
Port and slot connectivity, Port speed settings
Provide IP Addresses, Change of VLAN.
Act as a technical escalation point for implementation-related issues arising during
the commissioning process
Implementing changes on existing network with minimum downtime.
Key skills required:
Good understanding of different LAN, WAN technologies
Good understanding of high level design
Understanding of the complete scope of work and prepare the final Solution
Good understanding of design and configuration
CCNA /CCNP certified or equivalent
Avaya, Juniper certification added advantage.
Positive outlook and willingness to take ownership of issues & problems
Good communication skills
