Position : Demantra Consultant
Work Timing - 3:00pm onwards
Expereince: 4-10 years
Work Location – Bangalore
Qualification: BE/MCA/Mtech
Job Description : The candidate should have experience in Integrating EBS-Demantra and understands the Supply chain management functionality.
Custom Demantra Demo Requirements
1. Custom Workflow Triggered by an Alert / Exception
2. Custom Workflow for Collaboration / Automating a Process
3. Custom Workflow for Data Import / Export
4. Custom Workflow for Data Manipulation
5. Custom Form / Level Method to Automate a Portion of the Forecasting Process
6. Load customer items and sales history. Generate and tune forecast.
7. Add customer specific hierarchy levels for worksheet filtering.
8. Set up subtab worksheets that are related to the main worksheet
9. Combine setups from multiple demo templates into one demo environment so that we can show one integrated demo within Demantra.
Facilitate Integrated Demantra --> Value Chain Planning Demos
1. Facilitate the loading of customer-specific data and extensions into the DSS environments
2. Add industry tailored data and worksheets to the DSS demo environments
3. Add custom demo data to illustrate a specific capability within Demantra (This is different than adding customer-specific or industry-specific data.)
Central Repository of "Demo Templates"
Maintain a library of demo templates (DB dump files) to promote re-use across the entire SC community. The dump files in the central repository should be striped with meta data for industry, customer built for, key requirements, extensions added, data built out, Demantra version, and database version. We could import the DB dump files as a starting point for the demo environment. Or we could review the extensions created in that environment and re-create them in the current demo environment.
Reasons for Custom Demantra Demo Support Request
1. We need to demonstrate Demantra as our demand management solution for all opportunities, not just the Demantra target industries. So we will need to close some gaps when demoing to non-Demantra-target-industries.
2. It seems that the most efficient way to prepare for a Demantra demo is to start with the "demo template" that has already been tailored to the industry / customer requirements. We need to promote the re-use of these "demo templates" to increase the efficiency of all of our Demantra SCs.
3. Some customers require a POC step in the sales cycle that includes loading customer-specific data and generating forecasts. We should have the capability to perform this activity so that we are not dependent on others for completing this step in the sales cycle (if necessary.)
4. We need to move to showing more integrated Demantra --> Value Chain Planning demos so that we can more easily demanstrate the value of the entire VCP suite.
5. We need to be able to show streamlined forecasting processes to customers that are not focused on extreme forecast accuracy.
Methods & Workflows
You can define level methods, which the user sees as ordinary right-click menu
options in Demantra Spectrum (either in worksheets or in Members Browser content
panes). Each level can have its own set of methods. Demantra Spectrum provides a set
of default methods (Create, Edit, and Delete) that you can redefine or disable as
needed.
Each method runs a workflow. In Demantra Spectrum, a workflow is a logically
connected set of steps. Each step can be automated or can require interaction from one
or more users or groups. Demantra Spectrum provides a set of workflow steps, each
with predefined behavior. Workflows can also be used for general automation purposes.
Before you can configure a workflow, you may need to define the following elements
that it might use:
• Stored procedures
• Java classes
• Batch scripts
• Worksheets
