a) Hands-on experience in troubleshooting windows/network environment
b) Exposure and hands-on troubleshooting on basic messaging front end clients ?
Outlook and Lotus domino
c) Basic clarity on networking concepts
d) Client interface / basic soft and communication skills
e) Graduate / Diploma with relevant technical experience / certification

Experience : 1-2 YEARS
Skills: Deliverables of Walkin Support Engineer
a) Examine handsets for issues with keyboard, scroller, screen etc as RIM guidelines
b) Troubleshooting on the handsets mail client related issues
c) Basic sync issues of Handheld with user laptop (faulty laptop is to be handled by
user himself and is beyond the purview of walkin support)
d) BlackBerry Handset wipe, OS reload and software fix as per RIM guidelines
e) Certifying handheld for defects and swap over the counter or to be repaired by RIM
service center - paid/warranty replacements. Replacements on out of
Warranty cases will be as per TTSL guidelines
f) Replacement of defective handheld or issue of standby stock as the case may be
g) Check user's Handsets warranty status
h) Track replacements to be done at a location
i) Coordinate escalated cases to RIM with central escalated support team before
replacements for only
handheld software and network related cases
j) Assist in tally / reconcile stock with logistics in charge
k) Update call status
l) Handover and receive defective/good seed stock for too and fro movement from TTSL
service center to RIM service center in Bangalore.
