Position Summary
The MIDAS Team in IT Services provides manufacturing instructions software that is
used by NCR Manufacturing Plants, Manufacturing Engineers, and Assemblers. The
objective of the MIDAS Team is to improve manufacturing process and quality of the
ATMS by providing software that automates and simplifies an engineer's and
assembler's day-to-day activities.
As a member of this team, you will participate in a project that is designed to
improve NCR's Core Business Area - 'Manufacturing'. The key focus will be on 24x7
Support and Development activities related to all the locations using MIDAS. Also
include deployment to new locations as and when required.
Key Areas of Responsibility
As part of the MIDAS team,
o Will be responsible for Supporting a Business Critical Platinum Application.
o Are required to be available for 24x7 support either on call or in office (as
stated in the support plan).
o Required to travel as and when required/needed for Business Reasons.
o Shall have to work in Shifts to cover multiple sites.
Basic Requirements
o BE/B-Tech/MCA in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
o Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language
o 2 - 5 years of experience in developing applications.
o Operating System knowledge: Windows 2003
o SQL Server 2005 - Database Administration Knowledge preferred.
o Experience with .Net Framework a plus.
o RDBMS: PL/SQL knowledge required
o Languages: Visual Basic is a must
o Exposure to Manufacturing Process is a plus.

o Required listing of all formal Technical Trainings Attended
o Ability to adjust to rapidly changing development environment including schedule
and application requirements
