Qualification and Experience
Chartered Accountant with 1 to 2 years – post qualification or pre-qualification -
in Internal Audit. A Fresher can also be considered provided he or she has
experience in internal audit during articleship.
Job Responsibilities
1. To conduct Internal Audit (IA) reviews•
2. To write IA reports•
3. To liase with clients at departmental level to ensure efficient completion of
individual reviews•
4. To deliver consistent IA activity and reports that offer practical improvement
opportunities.
5. To set up audit programs and Internal Audit procedures•
6. To carry out debriefs with departmental managers to communicate results of
internal audit reviews•
7. Develop good working relationships with Business Managers and Staff
at functional levels and to ensure efficient and timely completion of IA reviews.
8. When performing IA reviews, identify and report opportunities for
improvement in the functioning of business processes resulting in efficiencies.
9. To document / update Standard Operating Procedures.
10. Monitor implementation of audit findings
Skills
• Strong Analytical and writing skills
• Strong understanding of internal control, risk assessment, business process and
operational auditing
• Enthusiastic and motivated individuals with strong communication and interpersonal
skills
• Good PC Skills (Word, Excel and Power point)
• Good management thinking and knowledge of regulatory guidelines and internal
control principles/practices
• Good leadership skill, flexible and able to work independently
