On time delivery of project deliverable
Adhere to the TechM quality process and other organizational guidelines.
Responsibilities:
1. In-depth experience in Clearcase under both Unix and Windows platforms.
2. Understanding of C++, Java and C#, make, clearmake, gnu-compiler, Visual Studio.
3. In-depth experience in Build Systems, Evaluating, testing and implementing of the build methods.
4. Experience in Scheduling Builds, Continuous builds, future builds & Build Automation tools like Cruise Control, Maven.
5. Understanding of Clearcase triggers, Branching, Labelling mechanisms for setting-up Build Systems.
6. Understanding of Compiler specific issues under Linux, SunOs, Windows and so on.
7. In-depth understanding of Build Process and Configuration management Process.
8. In-Depth understanding of Software Release life Cycle (SoD, RfS, RfA, RfD, IBN, Prod Phases).
9. Development and enhancement of programs and scripts for the build team, reorganisation of the config spec.
10. Specialized test builds for developers in order to recognize and fixing problems early.
11. Experience in integration of Defect tracking system with Source Control Systems.
12. Experience in writing the scripts in Perl, Shell, Windows Build Programs for the build activity.
13. Preparation and monitoring of the integration of new teams into the build structure.
14. Preparation of the delivery and the "hot phase" right before the delivery concerning the build.
15. Communication should be good to interact with client.
16. Solving of "special problems" in coordination with the CDM level.
17. Understanding of Testing , Services packs, Packaging, Software installation (Added advantages)
18. Experience with different Source control tools (Added advantage)
