The Corporate Administration & Shared Services organization (CA&SS) is charged with driving these optimization strategies for all Administrative and Global Shared Services.

HP's internal Shared Services business, called GBS (Global Business Services), is leading one of the key corporate strategic initiatives. The GSSS, under GBS, is owns functions such as Transition, transformation and global quality. This Organization is looking for exceptionally talented individuals who will become part of the all-star transition team heading up this unique effort within HP.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Transition Program Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of complex, multinational, multi-processes, large transition projects. He/ she is responsible for developing and executing transition plans that will enable our HP Internal customers to migrate processes without any operational disruption from the current site and state of their Operations after 'Go-Live'.

The selected person will apply his/her experience, project and people management skills to manage projects / project teams successfully and deliver solutions to the customers.

As a program manager, specifically, he/ she:

1. Manages customer Program/Project delivery :

a. Revenue as detailed in Impact section

b. High/Very High complexity legal, commercial issues

2. Manages project financials including P&L:

a. Meets or exceeds SOAR approved budgets

b. Provides reliable financial forecasts to GBS management

3. Manages business development:

a. Identifies and develops new opportunities on current project

b. Supports qualification and opportunity assessment for large & complex opportunities

c. Acts as opportunity manager

d. Working on proposals with Client Manager

4. Manages client relationships:

a. Manages mid-level to upper level client delivery relationships

b. Complex multifunction and/ or global delivery relationships with senior and executive ('C' level) client management

c. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients

d. Communicates the value our capabilities provide to our business partners and customers

� Strong leadership skills

� Experience managing conflicts

� Able to lead and manage change, understand the effects of organizational and process changes, and the effort needed to implement an innovative solution.

� Executive exposure

� Inspire credibility, strong interpersonal & communication skills, enthusiasm and positive attitude.

� Able to work on an unstructured environment and bring structure to a problem, synthesize issues.

� Ability to work effectively in diverse, foreign, virtual and multi-cultural environments.

� Familiarity with the HP BPO processes will be an advantage.

Industry Experience

� Consulting, Marketing (Positioning, consulting skills)

� Outsourcing expertise

� Expert in one or more of the following function: HR, Order Management, Supply Chain, Finance and Accounting, and Relationship management / Customer facing at all levels of the client organization

� 8-9 years of Program/Project management in complex environments

Education

� Bachelor's (undergraduate) or degree in economics, finance, engineering or industry related discipline is mandatory

� At least 12 years' project/ customer interaction experience

� Master degree in economics, finance, accounting, engineering or information technology/services

Active PMP certification required

Experience   1 - 6 Years
