Senior Technical Net-Backup (NBU) Consultant (Level3) JobsCafe.com Job Description The Senior Technical NBU Consultant is a Level 3 resource that typically leads the team onsite. This resource mostly works during normal business hours. However, will be required to address customer issues, as and when required, outside of business hours as well. It is critical that the Senior Consultant have good soft skills, both oral and written. They should have Bachelors in Computer Science, or equivalent. NBU experience of 5 years is a minimum. Symantec certifications are a plus.
The Technical NBU Consultant(s) is primarily responsible for providing support on critical backup and restore issues.

Following is a non-exhaustive, high-level list of core activities performed by Level 3 resources:
• Assisting with escalations from Level 2 Resources
• NBU configuration management and administration
• Change management
• Capacity management
• Problem management (completing root cause analysis)
• Day-to-day communications with the Client
• Performance tuning if any.
