Job purpose:
To plan and carry out sales activities and identify/hunt new clients. So as to build and develop IT Services sales to medium and large corporations, in accordance with agreed business plans.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
• Responsible for client acquisition in specified industry segments and revenue targets
• Research and identify buying centres within targeted organizations, reach out to them to develop relationship and generate business for KPIT Cummins’ offerings
• Responsible for building a sales pipeline thru various means and taking the same to closure
• Liaison with internal team to build proposal and plan joint calls
• Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
• Carry out market research on competitors, relevant offerings and industry in general and suggest strategies or direction changes as required to senior management
• Liaise and attend meetings necessary to build KPIT Cummins brand at seminars, analyst forums etc.
• Co-develop ideas and create offers and value propositions along with the relevant Practice teams
• Responsible for NN (net new) business ONLY
• Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
• Liaise and attend meetings necessary to build KPIT brand by attending seminars, analyst forums that aid business development
• Manage internal/external activities and research required for business development
• Will carry number target for the company on annual basis
