• To Maintain HP Sitescope by handling Administration, Node addition/deletion, Monitor creation/suppression, Monitor Deployment & troubleshooting, Template amendment, etc.
• To be completely responsible for HP Sitescope on UNIX/Windows and which is integrated with all other existing tools in the environment.
• Support of the Enterprise Systems Management Monitoring solution (HP Sitescope) enabling robust Event Monitoring across all strategic platforms, Databases, Network, Web as well as Service Level Agreement.
• Develop/Write scripts to automate processes. Enable further deployment of Systems Management tools.
• Knowledge of other HP OVO Suite of products like HPOM, OVPI, OVIS would be an added Advantage.
• He should be open to work in 24x7 shifts and provide support to all other teams specially Data Center Operations.
• He needs to provide extensive support to DC Ops team who will be monitoring events 24x7 using HP OVO.
• Maintenance and support of HP Sitescope in Complex Environment.
Essential Skills and knowledge:
• 3+ years relevant experience in HP Sitescope administration and implementation preferably in service provider network with a very strong UNIX/Windows knowledge.
• Should possess strong scripting knowledge in PERL, Shell/VB, etc.
• Should have experience in Integrations with other tools / Service Desk.
• Should have strong understanding of Networking, SNMP, MIBs, etc.
• Should have worked on various Solution templates (VM, SAP, Oracle, SQL, Netbackup, Weblogic, etc.).
• Should have been part of the team in High Availability configuration in complex environment.
• Experience in working as a part of a team involved in the implementation of HP Sitescope for big Global customer.
• Should be a fast learner of various other tools and integrate where possible.
• Should possess good communication and inter personal skills.
• Out of the Box Thinker with technical Savoir-faire
