Desired Candidate Profile

Role Description:

• Good knowledge/understanding on Network Security.

• Pro-active management/Monitoring of Network Appliances

• Respond to automated security events within defined SLA.

• Ability to provide support on Level 1 and Level 2 incidents

• Good working knowledge/understanding on Security Events, firewall tools, Firewall Policies, and Intrusion Detection Systems.

• Handle daily incoming calls and properly routing, validating all reporting on a day to day basis (about 30 minutes/day).

• Processing incoming Change Control Requests, entering into Change Control system, opening Incident management tickets for inbound calls.

• Should have Sound knowledge in ITIL Framework.

• Speak English with excellent diction

• Be well versed in handling customer issues

• Following procedures and escalating technology issues.

Job Description

Candidate should possess 1 to 2 Years of Experience in Network Security/IT Operational Security having minimum of 2 years experience in Managing and Monitoring CheckPoint (NGX) or Fortinet Firewalls, Intrusion detection systems (ISS RealSecure or Fortinet) within heterogeneous environments Should posses knowledge on fundamentals of TCP/IP and Routing and willing to work in 24/7 Operation.
