We offer these services from two data centres (one in Mumbai and the other in Chennai) and manage over 2000 network devices including routers, switches, servers, etc.
We are in the process of hiring candidates for the position of Helpdesk Executive / Engineer who will be placed in our Network Operations Centre (NOC) in Mahape, Navi Mumbai.
The Helpdesk Engineer is a key member in the Technical Support Team that manages the Hosting Infrastructure from the NOC. The Help Desk Engineer is an in-house position and does not require to go on field visit to customers.
The Helpdesk Engineer is the interface between the customer and the Technical Support team of Hosting division. Interaction with the customers is mainly through emails or on the phone.
Candidates who are hired as Help Desk Engineers and who show a good aptitude for understanding technologies can aspire to get promoted to L1-Technical Support role in the Hosting Services team. Good technical candidates who perform well can also look forward to working in the technical support teams of our other branches.
Our Network Operations Centre (NOC) office is located in Mahape (Navi Mumbai). Preference will be given to candidates staying in Thane, Airoli, Ghansoli, Chembur, Mankhurd, Vashi and Navi Mumbai areas .
Desired Profile
Job Responsibilities:
Call logging, allocation, status updation in the helpdesk software.
Call allocation/assignment to engineers
Interaction with engineers / customers on call status updation
Periodic MIS reports generation on call management and asset management
Process adherence of defined process
Ensuring customer satisfaction by responding to open tickets within stipulated timelines.
Principal qualifications:
Any Graduate / Any Diploma holder of 3 yrs after HSC (15 years full time continuous education without any break in education is a must).
Must Have - Good Communication Skills (Both Written & Spoken English)
Good Communication skills.
Should be ready to work in rotational shifts
Required skill(s):
Call logging, Vendor interaction, MIS reports generation.
Basic Knowledge on Computer Hardware and either of the OS mentioned [ Windows , Linux ]
Preference will be given to candidate having exposure or good knowledge on Mail, Web, DNS Services.
Experience of using Helpdesk software will be an added benefit.
